Playsmiths Presents is the public arm of our workshop. We develop and produce new plays, hold workshops and seminars, and generally try to further the future of American theater. We tell stories. Greetings, and thank you for your interest in Playsmiths. Playsmiths is a group of theatre professionals meeting weekly to develop new plays.  Playwrights bring in pages, actors are cast and cold read the material aloud.  Constructive, respectful feedback is shared.  Our goal is to present first a staged reading, and ultimately a full production of every full length script we develop.
