This is a group for anyone interested in Caribbean Playwriting ,poetry and storytelling. I started this group because I have recently established my own caribbean theatre and I am looking to find artists who have always had a passion for any of the above mediums to explore the caribbean heritage as well as the influences of migrating to the US.

Playsmiths Presents is the public arm of our workshop. We develop and produce new plays, hold workshops and seminars, and generally try to further the future of American theater. We tell stories. Since its inception in May 2009, Playsmiths has helped develop more than 30 full-length plays and scores of short pieces.  We have produced nine public concert reading events, starting off 2012 with ST.
